Princess Peach Toadstool is the youngest out of the original Mario Gang (starting with Mario Kart 64, and with Toad being an exception to this case), but surprisingly one of the oldest characters in Super Smash Brothers Melee (only the other Mario characters, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, and Mr. Game-and-Watch are older). Peach is Nintendo's most well-known female character, and thus, has a larger fanbase than any female character in existance to date.

Peach has an average intelligent rate, but she's kind, caring, and knowledgable. She's also occasionally appears to be stupid and not funny. Rarely does she show her true self - being the butt-kicking and highly intelligent princess she is.

Peach's best friends are Zelda, Samus, and Jigglypuff, but recently, Peach has been on good terms with May. Peach's boyfriend is Mario. She doesn't realize that May and Mario, though, are secretly going out.

Peach has a good friendship with Bowser recently as well, despite the fact that usally during the weekends, he kidnaps her again, and Mario goes off to defeat him and rescue her.
