Here are some Frequently asked questions and quick fickses:

  • Q: What is NightHawk?
    • A: Nighthawk is the latest installment of the Faraday OS Series. It is a distribution of the Linux Kernel and GNU tools, but what makes it uniquely Faraday is it's ability to connect to NightHawk Embedded devices and to run older Faraday Applications natively or with a simple recompile.
  • Q: Where can I get it?
    • A: Currently, NightHawk is not available to the public. It is planned to be released for Beta testing Nov. 30th 24 November 2008.
  • Q:I'm having trouble starting installing NightHawk, what am I doing wrong?
    • A: Make sure your Cd-Rom drive is plugged into your computer and getting power, Check the Install Disk for scratches and blemishes, if dirty clean with a cloth. Retry the process. If this does not solve the problem consult the seller of the disk. If you downloaded NightHawk from the internet, make sure you properly burned the .ISO file to the disk.
  • Q: How do I burn a .ISO file to a disk?
    • A: First you will need a "Burning Rom", like UltraISO which can be downloaded here. Click the picture of a Cd on fire from the taskbar. Select your Image File from your Hard Drive, then press "Burn", make sure you have a blank CD-R or CD-RW in the drive.
