Blogbridge

A desktop application, but with a Internet service for synchronizing between different computers - the "Blogbridge Service".

Strengths

Can by synchronized (up to twice a day) using the Blogbridge Service. This means that any new feeds which have been subscribed to will be available.
Software is free. A free Blogbridge Service is available. Paid for accounts are also available which allow greater number of synchronizations, unlimited number of feed subscriptions and the ability to publish to your own blog. The basic account is $5 for 3 months and publishing account is $25 for 3 months.
Easy to use and with an attractive interface.
Can add 'SmartFeeds' which will search for blog posts and other feeds matching any set criteria. But it doesn't appear to do advanced searches. Searches Amazon.com books/tags, Connotea tagged references, del.icio.us tagged bookmarks, Digg stories, Feedstar standing search, Findory related articles, Flickr tagged photos, Google BlogSearch, Google News, Monster.com jobs, Technorati tagged postings.
Can export data in OPML format, so if decide to change to a different feed reader you should be able to import your feeds - provided that other reader can use the same format. Also can import data in OPML format from other readers.
Available for different operating systems - Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Can be very slow especially when it is starting up or updating itself with new posts, especially if have many subscriptions. Can slow the whole computer down - it seems to use a lot of memory. It didn't run well on either my home or work computer, which are both a couple of years old.
Only two synchronizations can be made per day using the free Blogbridge Service account, so the free account is no good for anyone who wants to use it on more than two computers on one day. With the paid Blogbridge Service accounts, more synchronizations are possible.
The software has to be installed on every computer on which it is used.

Probably fairly good for users who don't need to synchronize more than twice a day, if they are using a modern computer which will not suffer from the performance issues.
