SWOT analysis of Electric Diary [www.electricdiary.com]

Strengths: Easy to use. Can use an alias. Can create multiple blogs and move entries between the blogs. It has been running for five years. Uses a google search engine. Doesn't ask for personal information. Has an rss feed. Uses permalinks.

Weaknesses: Comments disappear after 3 months if the blog isn't used. Can not add people as friends to your blog. Blog is either all private or all public. Can only really add pictures and not other multi-media files. Very little information from the provider on the site regarding what their service levels are.
