Google Reader
Stengths: Many people who come to Google Reader will already have a Google account. It’s as easy as easy to use. It’s password controlled. Emailing feeds is very easy. It’s easy to set up folders and organize your feeds. The service is subject to continuous behind the scens improvement.
Weaknesses: I didn’t see any t’s and c’s during the process of creating my reader account because I already have a Google account and I wasn't givcen the chance to reveiw them when signng up to the reader service. The general t’s and c’s refer to the concept of IPR and copyright explain (but somewhat crudely) what is permitted under law and what my rights of ownership are in relation to any content that I submit, but the focus is on what Google want to tell me rather than on what I need to know about IPR etc.
Opportunities Probably useful for anyone doing media studies
Threats: The service is subject to continuous improvement.
