Editing Biju

[[Biju]] (尾獣) are tailed creatures in the ''Naruto'' anime and manga. They possess terrific power and can destroy entire cities. However, in order to get rid of them, the people locked each of the nine Biju inside ''Jinchuriki'' (人柱力) to prevent them from terrorizing humanity again. However, the organization ''Akatsuki'' wishes to release them for a unknown reason. If the jinchuriki dies, the Biju dies, and if the Biju is removed, the Jinchuriki dies. In that way they are dependant of each other.



== Shukaku ==

Shukaku was sealed into ''Gaara'' by ''Chiyo''. The Shukaku's thirst for blood lead it to kill everything in sight. The Jinchuriki has the power to levitate sand at will, though the Biju drives the Jinchuriki to near madness. 

In the ''Joruney to the Land of Wind'' mission in the ''Naruto II Arc'', ''Akatsuki'' removes ''Shukaku'' from ''Gaara'''s body, thus killing him. However, he is brought back to life by ''Chiyo'' and ''Naruto''.

Not much is known about the ''Nibi'' other than it is a fire elemental. It's Jinchuriki is [[Yugito]] form the Land of Thunder. She was captured by the ''Akatsuki'' members ''Hidan'' and ''Kazuku'', but the ''Nibi is yet to be extracted.

Not much is known about the ''Sanbi''. It was captured by ''Akatsuki'' members ''Tobi'' and ''Deidara''. Unlike the others, this one does not have a Jinchuriki, making it a bit easier to catch, scince it is not intelligent enough to control it's own power.

The ''Kyubi'' is the most powerful of all the ''Biju''. The ''Kyubi'' was sealed into [[Uzumaki Naruto|Naruto]] by the ''Fourth Hokage''. ''Naruto'' did not know that he was the ''Jinchuriki'' of ''Kyubi'' until he was told by ''Mizuki''. After that, he began to learn how to control it's power, being taught by ''Jiraiya''. However, by doing this he is loosening the seal that bind him and the ''Kyubi''. The ''Kyubi'' has some kind of relationship with the ''Uchiha'' clan, as it seems to know one foeir members, ''Uchiha Madara'' very well. It's power has been going out of control more frquently and with more intensity clarifying that the Seal is indeed breaking.
