Wizards and witches use a different sort of currency than Muggles, and the stores of magical wealth are kept in various banks across the world.  The most famous, of course, is Gringotts.  This Merit works the same as mortal Resources, but only applies in the wizarding world.  As a note, one CAN convert Muggle money to wizarding currency, but the same cannot be done in reverse.

Parseltongue, the language of snakes, occasionally surfaces in wizards across the globe.  The tongue is usually associated with the Dark Arts, although that stigma has faded somewhat since the death of Lord Voldemort.  With the first dot version of this merit, the witch or wizard is able to comprehend Parseltongue, but not speak it without sounding like a first-year French student to a Parisian native.  Those with the three-dot version, however, are able to speak the language fluently.
