A half-crocodile, half-spider hybrid. Sentient, polite, yet deadly.
From original game logs, when Allison and Michael first meet the queen:
The crocodile part [is] the torso, except for the underbelly, where the silk sac [is]; the spider's legs [are] long and thorny, wickedly frightening, and [have] hooks on the ends. The crocodile's mouth [is] huge, and [has] pincers around the mouth...
