In Italy,one of the measures often taken to recude the level of carbon dioxide and other harmful gas is to forbide the use of cars, at least in the historical centre. Another anti-pollution measure is " plates alternate" that is to say, on days with an even date, only cars whose numberplate ends in an even number may be on the road, while on days with an odd date, only cars whose numberplate ends in an odd number are allowed to be on the road.It's better than nothing but then, as soon as the situation improves, we return to "normal" life. It is the mentality that should revolutionize, so as to create permanent changes in our dailylife.
