Matt Hagen was an old mob-boss before The Kingpin threw him into a pod of liquid plastic to get him 'Out of the way". Unknown to the Kingpin, Hagen survived and turned him into the creature he is today ... CLAY FACE.
He vowed revenge on Kingpin. But as he was to get his revenge, Kingpin offered him medical treatment for his deformity if he would kill Warioman.
He's been trying to get Warioman ever since just to be normal again.
