Nisrenty

A network of nomadic tribes to the far north. No one really knows their numbers. Their primary occupations are cattle herdsmen and shamans. The herdsmen practice war in order to protect their flocks from rustlers (and thus the relative "economy" of Nisrenty), as cattle is the backbone of their society. The shamans of Nisrenty (of which there are few)practice pure Leyline manipulation, able to use "magic" without any sort of ritual or ceremony. However, attaining this level of enlightenment requires several years of study.

As a side note, though mechanical means of transportation are becoming more and more common, Nisrentian horses frequently match (and sometimes even outstrip) their metallic counterparts.
