Gunsmith was the first character created by the user grent. His powers are unintentionally similar to those of Bulet, with a few noteable exceptions.

History

Gunsmith evolved from a character known as Viper in the original 'Super MS Paint Brawl!' thread on Newgrounds. Viper's powers included the ability to spawn guns from thin air with no need to reload them unless "it looks cool," and resistance to self-inflicted environmental damage, such as that from jumping off a building. Viper was a black stick figure with no mouth and triangular eyes (which were the creator's pitiful attempt to differentiate Viper from normal stick figures).

When Grent joined the Super Paint Brawl forum some time later (after following a link nitroexplosion had sent him shortly after the lock of the original thread), he used a modified version of Viper known as Gunsmith. Gunsmith kept all of Viper's powers with the addition of an allergy to shellfish (mainly added as a gag). Gunsmith mainly differed from Viper in design; instead of a black stick figure with triangular eyes, Gunsmith was a blue stick figure with white, semicircular eyes outlined in black. Later on, Grent also gave Gunsmith the power to curve his bullets like the characters in the movie Wanted.

Gunsmith has the ability to pull guns from thin air without the need to reload them, the ability to curve bullets, and a resistance to self-inflicted environmental damage.

Bio

Gunsmith was accidentally teleported from his home universe to Brawl City (to the top of the Really Tall Tower, to be exact) by an evil scientist named Dr. Genius. Thus far he has been unable to find a way back home, but he is still searching. After an extended period of time in Brawl City, he decided to take up brawling in order to keep his skills sharp for when he returns home to face Dr. Genius.
