He is known for playing the role of the villain.

One of the few members that has yet to post a picture of themselves, their room, real name, or allow others to here his voice during an MSN conversation. He enjoys anonymity.

Abyss is one of the few active "veteran" members on MOD and one of the few to have never changed his name throughout his stay. He has, however; changed his Avatar image and Signature a number of times.

Started a fad on FOD concerning the phrase "You sit on a Throne of Lies" which, in turn, was a stolen fad from another site.

Abyss is one of the more frequent comic makers of the Mask Of Destiny Community Comics, with a total of 6 comics.

Abyss actually, recently recorded a voice clip on MSN. He was convinced to do so by others recording themselves saying the phrase "You sit on a throne of lies" Rapi proceeded to send these repeatedly to Abyss. He then created the short voice clip with a piece of the solo from Metallica's "Master of Puppets" playing in the background. It is now an Emotion sound within the library.

Abyss's Monolouge: "I have had enough of this, enough of all things. This world, this universe, this existence. This is a world that strives for peace, a peace that cannot be had. The driving forces of this universe are never ceasing and never ending. Existence is but a constant power struggle between light and shadow, good and evil, but here in lies the flaw. What is good? What is evil? These are just labels grasped onto to make our actions excusable. We all merely wish the same thing: to survive. Are you so blind as to label identical struggles as foul and undeserving? This is a world built upon fallacy of the three virtues. If destiny truly exists, then there is no reason to perform our duties, for it has already been accomplished. Without duties, there is no reason to stay unified. So with this, it all falls apart.

You have determined that I am evil, I must be stopped, I am a threat to your important goal of survival. These shadows I wield allow me to see all events as they happen and have happened. Light, in opposition, grants an ability to view the future and the present events simultaneously. With such abilities I view all truths.

Who are you so impudent as to defy that which is inevitable? This self righteous organization, the "Balancers" as they call themselves hold claim to view all events, and serve as an ultimate judge. Such an arrogant belief held as to deem which goals are more equal. Balancers are but a chaotic short term solution to a never ending power struggle. I will walk from this confrontation. My will shall live on, for my will is eternal. I intend to provide the solution to this system of constant war between these forces. I shall end the entire thing. No more life, no more existence, eternal peace. You stand here in my realm of the void, and here, I am god."

Abyss then entered a fight with Devil Mode Gyth, and proceeded to battle Veno after throwing him aside. Gyth then jumped in the way of Abyss's scythe before it could impale Veno and was killed. Abyss was killed by Korona's "ultimatum" attack. He was later revived by Giygas and battled the others on Heaven. He died while battling the others withing Giygas.
