I'm considering centering the game around astrology to provide some originality as well as a basis for everything concerning the players' god-like abilities. As such, I've already started correlating each in-game element with the starsign it most resembles in characteristics:

Fire is under Aries, rambunctious and passionate. Water is under Pisces, intellectual and passive. Earth is under Taurus, steadfast and rock hard. Wind is under Gemini, manipulative and lively. Ice is under Scorpio, forceful and ever-changing. Spark is under Libra, dynamic and easy-going. Holy is under Leo, zealous and faithful. Dark is under Cancer, intuitive and cunning.

Those signs left over are Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Virgo.

I'm considering giving Spark another sign in favor of making Libra the innate starsign for those of Neutral element who aren't influenced by any signs, since Libra is a symbol for balance. I'd appreciate feedback and opinions on how I can better match up these signs to other elements of the game so as to mesh all sciences and beliefs in the game world into one truth.

The basic idea is that those who train in a particular area of magic or physical ability are, in fact, training underneath the starsign of that school in order to harness the power of the stars as their own. I think this could give the world a good, realistic feel that may balance out the wild fantasy-ish action that will probably go with gameplay.
