Your interest may possibly lie in the typical sports field. Vigilantly building yourself towards peak performance, towards medals, towards sporting fame. Good. There are recognized and highly qualified Coaches who will educate and guide you. There are recognized and very successful proven instruction workouts, all involving preparatory warm-ups.
My attention is very different. My fascination with the Fighting Techinques is entirely for Personal Protection. For radical and effective self defence. To Survive!
For that reason, although I trained as a Physiotherapist and am a Location Coach in the Fighting Techinques
I DO NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE IN PREPARATORY WARM-UP EXERCISING
There is the greatest danger that you'll mentally need to go through them when you end up in mortal danger as the Mugger rushes at you if you prefix your instruction with warm-up routines.
There's virtually no time!

Your interest may lie in the general sports field. Watchfully building your self towards peak efficiency, towards medals, towards sporting glory. Great. There are highly skilled and established Coaches who will teach and guide you. There are highly effective and recognized established instruction routines, all involving basic warm-ups.
My attention is fairly different. My fascination with the Martial Arts is entirely for Personal Protection. For effective and severe home defence. To Survive!
Therefore, even though I trained as a Physiotherapist and am an Area Coach in the Fighting Techinques
I DO NOT RELY ON PREPARATORY WARM-UP EXERCISING
If you prefix your education with warm-up exercises there is the greatest danger that you'll mentally need to proceed through them when you get in mortal danger because the Mugger rushes at you.
There is almost no time!
