= Overview =

Merciah is a Navy guy. Joined up on MHS when it was created. One of the oldest members of the board, he joined when it split from AHS, and with gaps in between, is one of the oldest active members of the board. He has done everything with MHS, regular member, moderator admin, and now again a regular member.

=The Life of a Roleplayer=

==Joining the world of RP==
Merciah was introduced to roleplaying in 8th grade. The first game he ever played, was Legend of the Five Rings. From there he played the original Crimson Skies, one of his favorites. But Merciah never truelly started understanding what roleplaying was untill he started playing Werewolf: the Apocolypse his freshman year of highschool. From there, he was hooked. He explored all of Whitewolfs gaming series, and came to love them. Finally, in his Junior year in highschool, he played D&D (Dungeons and Dragons for those not in the know) for the first time. The ideas that followed, that anything could happen as long as he could imagine it amazed him. He took this new found knowledge, and returned to his roots, Whitewolf's series and other games that he had dabbled in. Merciah was a true Roleplayer in the sense of the word.

==Online RP==
Perhaps weeks after Merciah started playing D&D, he went online with his new gaming experience. From here he found EZBoard, and his life would forever be different. On Ezboard, Merciah was interested in this new game he was learning, D&D. He found a place called, "The City of Glenton". A fun place to RP playing AD&D. He instantly became a member, enjoying the gaming that he could do, roleplay with only his imagination and his ability to type as a limit. So that is what he did. After he graduated Highschool Merciah's life changed when he joined the Navy. New places new experiences, but he stayed true to his roleplaying.
Searching through things, as the place he played D&D started to die off after two years, he found AHS

==AHS==
Merciah always was attached to his characters. The ones he played when he was rping online, were characters he had made playing D&D with his friends. When he got to AHS, it was a completely different style of play. Not based off any set of rules he'd heard of, he thought, well lets see how it would be to transfer my character from V:tM (Vampire: the Masquarade) In such, he had his first character in a new type of game that he would come to love.

==Coming to MHS==
Merciah had just become a member of AHS perhaps a few months before MHS was created. Not one for drama, he looked at the good in the fact that there were two boards, figuratively in the same world, and they even recognized each other. So he had one character at AHS, and when MHS was created, he made one for MHS. Following Suzuki Otogi, not as one that cared about the drama. He was actually almost banned from MHS due to the fact that he was open about having a character still at AHS.

==EZ MHS==
He created a new character for MHS, rather then bring his old character from AHS. Merciah Forigaln was the character he incorparated into the game. A character from D&D actually. For the longest time he enjoyed what he did. Playing, and making friends on the young board. Making good friends of Itami, Tai and Dev, Merciah was an extemely active member in what is now referred to as the "Glory Days" of MHS. 
After some time, Suzuki hit some difficulties, leaving the board in the hands of then administrator, Itami. When Itami became admin, she approached a few people to help her out, Tai and Merciah among them. Merciah turned the offer down many times, not wanting to have the extra responsibility. His Navy Career just starting to pick up. 

===Merciah's end at AHS===
Then, one day, Itami and Tai both approached him with an offer he couldn't refused. They needed the help, the board was suffering and they were afraid it was going to die without help. Merciah couldn't say no. When this happened, AHS became a secondary place. Yes, he was still roleplaying at both boards, still an active member at both places, and he enjoyed the differences. At MHS, everyone knew everyone, while at AHS, it was so big, that people wouldn't get the chance to meet everyone. Merciah liked the smaller group, where everyone was friends more, so he left AHS. Saying goodbye to the friends he made there, and even bringing a few with him. As well, Merciah brought his character from AHS, to MHS. He now had two characters, Merciah Forigaln, and Karrody de`Champion.

===MHS Responsibilities===
As a mod, Merciah jumped into his new job with a passion. He even took it upon himself, to personally read every post on the board. For no other reason, that he enjoyed the place so much, that he wanted to experience as much as he could. After a while, Merciah and Tai were the only administration of the board. Itami's school life constantly pulling her away. This had made it difficult for both Tai and Merciah to do what they were being tasked to do. Not to mention, the board was starting to grow again. He even ended up creating his first original character since he created his character, Merciah Forigaln for D&D. Aoi Hanabishi. The School Nurse.
Finally, Merciah was able to get ahold of Itami after weeks of hard work, and get her to make Tai an admin. Merciah still didn't want to be fully in charge. It took only a month before Tai approached him and let him know, that he was having trouble witt the admin thing, and needed help. Hence Merciah's new status as an admin. While he was able to, Merciah did everything he could. As an admin, the board started to change, but Merciah was always reluctant to make changes, finally making them when there was no longer any choice. Itami was difficult to get a hold of, but it was her board, and he didn't want to do to much with out her input, or atleast letting her know somehow.
The board went through some fluctuations, and Merciah's Navy Career was starting to take a toll on his ability to be a part of MHS. Believe it or not, during that time, Merciah the anti-dramatic. Actually became involved in drama with another player. Regardless of the reasons, it resulted in a lot of hurt feelings between some groups of players, and even some others sadly, leaving MHS. 
As the board was on one of it's lowest points, Merciah was looking for some much needed help. Yes it was the era of Big administration at MHS, but what was there, Itami as owner, Tai and Merciah as Admins, [[Dev]], Kobita and Coolcupcakes as moderators. There were very few that were active. Merciah knew one thing though. He remember all the effort Itami and Tai went through to convince him to be a moderator. He knew he only ended up conceding because it was for the good of the board. In such, he knew someone he thought would make a great mod, if not admin, though she didn't want the job, it only solidified his belief in her. Merciah constantly approached [[Kary]]. She was his choice of choices. Finally she conceded after Dev took over.
In light of everything that was happening, [[Dev]] ended up moving MHS from Ezboard. Merciah intially was against for one main reason, He was unable to access the board at the new site while deployed. Non-the less, it was in the interest of the board, and it moved. Merciah didn't follow.
