Content Deliverables
Deliver To...
All content should be delivered to either Mike Geraci or Derek Foote. Content delivered to Mike can be dropped at his office. Content delivered to Derek can be submitted through Mike, emailed to foot6017@pacificu.edu, or CD/DVDs can be dropped in UC Box 276.
Alumni
A total of eight photographs of will be needed for the alumni section. Each major will
have two alumni showcased, each of these requiring a photograph of the person and a text
file with the necessary information:
Name
Graduating class & major
Current occupation and brief description (2-3 sentence)
One of the following descriptions: (2-3 sentences. Ask all questions, select one)
Favorite media class while at Pacific
What part of their media arts education do they use the most as a professional
Most memorable experience/project as a media arts student
Faculty
The full-time faculty will have video descriptions; additional faculty members will have
photo bios. Mike, Johanna and Dave will both have video bios. Jim, Sam, Grant, Will,
and Randy will all have photo bios.
The development team will be responsible for producing the necessary videos and taking
the photographs of each faculty member. Mike and Dave will require photos as well as
the other faculty. This results in a total of two videos and seven photographs.
Program Overview
The Program Overview section will require text file descriptions from students for the
listed classes. The faculty will be responsible for selecting a student to provide a short-
three to four sentence-description of the course.
General: noted with (g)
Journalism: Reporting/Adv Reporting, Publication Design, Writing for Print
Media (g), Black &White Photography (g)
F/V: Elements of Production, Studio Production (g), Field Video, Editing,
Screenwriting (electives: Sound Design & Animation)
Int. Media: Elements of Multimedia (g), Designing for Electronic Media, Project
Design & Plan, Project Dev, Programming for Multimedia, Web Design
Overall: Senior Projects (g) & Internships
Co-curricular: Index, Forensics, & Pacific Productions
Each of these courses will also require one to three pictures from the course to use in the
interface when a video is not available. The development team will be responsible for
gathering these photos.
Video descriptions of the following courses will be a cooperative effort of Pacific
Productions and the development team. Even though these classes will have videos, the
requested photography still applies.
Courses: Writing for Print Media, Black & White Photography, Elements of
Production, Studio Production, Design for Electronic Media, Project Design &
Plan w/ Project Development.
Student Gallery
The student gallery will be the largest assortment of content. The gallery will showcase
twenty different student-produced works. The emphasis will be senior capstone
productions and in-class projects. For each project, a text file description of the project
including the student, course, and any relevant information will need to be provided. The
department faculty will be responsible for gathering project content from students in the
major.
