Goals and Objectives

The primary goal of the Media Department’s website is to market the four media majors to potential and current Pacific University students. Potential students will be qualified as senior and some junior high school students, as well as transfer students from other college and universities. Current students will be qualified as freshmen and sophomore students who have not declared their major.

Our goal is to engage the target audiences in an interactive and informative website that will attract and interest them in the media department. The site will also illustrate the quality of the department by exhibiting model student work from all majors.

The site will provide information about the media arts faculty, alumni, as well as give examples of academic programs and student work.
