The point of this class was to present holy, protective, and spiritual characters who would interact with the player-base on a different level than that of the typical selfish, self-motivated, self-interested player. A knight was given enough power to protect himself and a few others present. So much power, in fact, that it was almost like battling several players instead of just one. The reason behind this was to promote passive and friendly class without making them "push-overs." If you've ever heard the expression "good triumphs over evil" than a knight is typically the class to match it. Unfortunately many players played this class simply for the power rush, making religiously zealous characters designed to kill and destroy. |
