Background Information

Born on the island of Terceira of the Azores Archipelago, Makoto lived with her mother (お母母さん) and father (お父父さん) until about the age of one and one-half years. Her parents separated and while her mother returned to Akron, Ohio (her origin), she and her father stayed in Portugal. After her father suffered from a collapsed lung, Makoto was sent to San Fernando, California to await his return along with her grandmother, Billie Kilcoine (お婆婆さん).

At the age of three, her grandmother passed away due to leukemia and her father came to California to get her. The two proceeded on moving through various places in Europe and Asia. A few years following that, Makoto and her father proceeded on living in Pendleton, Oregon, a rather small town where Makoto began to attend first grade.

While there, Makoto's father worked as a disc jockey for the radio station KWHT (also known as K-Wheat, KTIX, and 103.5FM). During his employment there, he met a young woman by the name of Annette Miller (継母) and on July 16th of 1995, the two were joined in holy matrimony where Makoto obtained a stepmother. Along with Annette, Makoto also found a new stepbrother by the name of Jeff (義兄弟), the son of Annette's previous marriage to Ron Miller.

Shortly after their wedding, the family moved to Walla Walla, Washington, and lived on a ranch for about half a year. Finally deciding to move again, they made Milton-Freewater, Oregon their home for a total of eight years. During this time, Makoto attended Central Middle School, enrolled in band and jazz band and officially began to write fan-fiction for the Legend of Zelda series.

In the second half of her seventh-grade year, she and her family was moved to Rosemont, California to stay with David Brower (祖父) and his wife, Elizabeth. In her stay, Makoto was contacted by her biological mother and the two grew a little closer together, causing animosity between her maternal parents.

For her eighth and ninth grade years, her family moved to Citrus Heights, California. For her final year, she attended Sylvan Middle School. Following that, she was enrolled in San Juan High School. During her sophomore year, her parents and her moved back in with Annette's father, so she could work in the family business of DACS Enterprise, which was later closed down due to tax evasion as constructed by David Brower. Then a year later, Makoto moved out of the house and instead stayed with two of her friends back in Citrus Heights: Michelle and Alan Capps.

During her senior year, her father requested that she move again, displeased with her living arrangements and the lack of independence she appeared to be suffering from. She was given permission to move in with her boyfriend at the time, Robert Steven Beeler. In the midst of staying there, she worked at Scandia Family Fun Centre in Sacramento, Dairy Queen in Citrus Heights, Hewlett Packard/Sykes Enterprises in Roseville, and part-time work of Konami in Los Angeles.

She graduated from San Juan High School June 11th of 2004, and began to start her second year in American River College. After contracting the West Nile virus following the outbreak, she was released from her college and working duties. In an effort to lift her spirits, Robert's mother, Susan, suggested that she go visit her mother in Ohio. Setting things up, Makoto left California on August 25th of 2005 for a two-week trip to Massillon. However, as it seemed things did not often go the way she planned, she never returned.

Current Information

Makoto currently lives with her mother in Massillon, Ohio, along with her stepfather, younger half-brother, and younger half-sister. While thought to be normally single, she is engaged to Douglas A. White. Their marriage date is set for February 29th of 2008. Those interested in attending, should contact Makoto.

An aspiring artist, Makoto is currently doing free and paid commissions. This includes designer wear, cosplay outfits, paiting, drawing, and sketching. Also she is in the process of writing her second book, What Lies beneath the Ground and is revising her first, Dreaming of Paired Wings (formerly known as Fantasy on Two Wings). Once these are complete, she hopes to have them published and will continue to write and draw as normal.
