The Great Cliff

Dividing the continent in two, the Great Cliff is exactly that: a gigantic cliff almost a mile high at the tallest point. In the middle the Great River causes a tremendous falls, all other lesser rivers evaporate before reaching the bottom. On the slightly craggier and less vertical northern half, small tribes descended from Spire refugees are the only remnant of the original inhabitants of that distant land. They work to preserve their way of life and the exotic flying creatures that once lived in Spire.
