While nothing is known about the plot at this time, it is known that Lunar Shadow X will take place during February 2017.

Little has been revealed about the characters.

New characters planned include:

• Amariss Richters, the protagonist
• Several of her friends from Perchance Village
• The Lunar Shadow, which is the true final boss

Characters from past works in the trilogy planned to return include:

• Shinica Horton, wearing a protective suit
