Elder Abred Mendro was the representative for the North Central Brotherhoods of [[Ajyendar]].  Though he was a known worshipper of [[Kand]], Mendro's position at the head of [[The Awakening]] was not public knowledge until after his death.  Mendro was a clever politician who enjoyed making the most out of would-be enemies, but for unclear reasons he signed over the secession of his Brotherhoods to help form [[Kand]], right before his death.  He is credited with rediscovering the [[Shadow of Kand]].<br>
