Lohrkand is a land eternally in darkness. The sun never rises there, and it's name literally means "Without Kand" in the Tsir tounge--Kand is the god of sun and light worshipped by the Temple of the Kand, so the name is often enterpreted as "Without Light." The nation boasts huge trees and forests.
Lohrkand gained it's independence from Ajyendar (or more so from Kandonia in the Ajyendari Civil Wars.)
