Explain the situation to the girl

"I discovered you just outside my hut," you say to the woman. "You were badly wounded."

"I don't see wounds," she says, looking over herself.

"I have cured you of your ills," you reply. "I am the Red Witch, and you sit now in my home."

The woman looks terrified, backing herself until she is pressed against your bed. "Please!" she begs. "Do not eat my spirit!"

You begin to laugh. This is new. You've never heard this one before. She seems even more confused by your laughter.

"You..." she stammers, "You won't harm me?" You shake your head no.

She rises slowly, getting to her feet and bearing herself to you. "Then I owe you my life," she says quietly. She stretches her arms to you and beckons you to come to her.
