Ralph Redfearn

Ralph Redfearn is a member of the Ordo Dracul and well known for being a scientist, and of a slightly nervous disposition, often speaking with a stammer when nervous - something he has been working at overcoming with the aid of Audric Delano.

Ralph comes from country gentry stock, was educated at Eton and Balliol College Oxford, he spent time working for the British East India company - where he made his money, and invested in a textile mill business. Ralph occasionally mentions that he once was married and had a family. He also seems to respond to freemasonic references in manner to suggest prior membership.

He was embraced around 1780 by Radu Matei a Ventrue of eastern european origins, who also introduced him to the Ordo Dracul, which he joined almost immediately on embrace.

When the Ordo Dracul went underground Ralph decided to join the Invictus as a cover covenant as the majority of the other Ventrue in the city were members. He did however always live on the very outskirts of the city (some would say outside it) and rarely interacted with the kindred at court.

With the publication of Dracula, Ralph announced his membership of the Ordo Dracul and left the Invictus, he then left court for a good while.

Ralph is known to have suffered during WWII at the hands of the Luftwaffe his haven being hit by a number of bombs in the blitz and then later a V1 which trapped him sending him into torpor. The experience seems to have left him rather paranoid about the capacity of mortals to effect kindred society and his own personal safety - having a definate "bunker mentality".

Ralph is known to have a number of childer, including Redmond Skeffington, Miss C.M. Donnelly, Max Middendorf, Miss Persephone Hawkins and Dr. David Hunt.
