It is said that the Deathknights can steal the hearts of the unwary - often literally. When this charm is activated, the Abyssal rolls Wits + Larceny, adding his Essence in automatic successes and opposed by the target's Perception + Awareness, also adding the target's Essence as automatic successes. If the Solar is successful, he gains a number of points of temporary willpower equal to the number of successes rolled, to a maximum of his normal maximum willpower. The target of the charm likewise loses the same number of willpower points.

Deathknights are made for war, but their battles are best fought in shadow. When an attack successfully damages a Deathknight, he may activate this charm as a Counterattack, transmuting the blood spilled by the attack into an inky black fog that pervades an area equal to his Essence in yards. Anyone within this area - or attempting to fire into this area from outside - takes an external penalty to all actions equal to the wound penalty the Abyssal suffered on the attack + 1 (so a -0 health level would be a -1, -1 would be -2, etc.) This charm can be used multiple times, and the effects stack, to a maximum total applied penalty equal to the Abyssal's Stealth.
