The Curse of Blood is an ancient demon curse. It is like a deadly virus: once you get it, you can't get rid of it.
It is sealed inside a box. The box is no larger and the hand of a toa, and is decorated with jewels. The lid is very loose, and can easily be accidentally opened.
Effects
When the box is opened, the opener would be disapointed to find that it is empty. However, they, and those in close proximity, have been cursed.
Once cursed, no power can undo it.
Now, every time a being bleeds, it disappears, and reappears every time the being bleeds again. Eventually, the blood accumulates enough to make a being. When it does, a being resembling he original bleeder is created. The "Blood Toa" is evil, and has an overwhelming need to kill its opposite whenever they are near.
Powers
Despite being blood, the Blood Toa cannot return to a blood form, or break off into blood. However, whenever the original being bleeds again, the blood is absorbed by the blood toa, making them stronger.
Blood Toa d o not have the same powers as the original toa. Where the original has an element and a mask power, the Blood Toa only has a special power.
When around the original toa, the blood toa will be overwhelmed and acts only to kill the original toa. They go beserk, and are completely unaware of their surroundings. And it appears that they lose strategic thinking as well, being like a wild rahi.
