The Great Angel Purge

The Great Angel Purge is an attack from the Demons on the angels, back when they lived together. Durring this one attack, three of the angel species were wiped out, save for one or two angels.

Angel Side

One day, the angels were going about their buisness. They were working, mingling, and the usual. Suddenly, the sky turned black and the hillsides turned dark. The Angels looked, and saw that is was all demons. There were loud battle cries, and the army of demons charged towards the Angels.

Some Angles ran, but were killed by demons, demon arrows, or were trampled by other running angels. Other angels tried to fly away, but were attacked in the air by demons or shot down by demons arrows.

After that day, less 1/5 of the angel population was left. Those who were alive retreated to the mountains near "The Crossing."

Demon Side

One early morning, about 4:00, every single demon gathered in armor with weapons, and marched to the Angel land. Half flew, half walked.

When the Angels realized what was happening, then ran. They ran fast and in a bunch. Some were even trampled by others.

The order was given, and they shot their arrows. They rained down, and killed Angels. This repeated, and soon no angels were left in the angel land.

Those who tried to fly away were picked off by the demons in flight, and half of them went that way.

Result

Less than 1/5 of the original angel population was left. Surprisingly, the angel leader was alive, but that didn't ease the suffering.

They retreated to the mountian caves near "The Crossing", a mythical place that was said to be the place where the Demon World and the real world met.

The Angles regrouped, and let a counterattack. It was shorter, less destructive to the Demon population, and they tried not to get any angels killed. It was semi-successful, but the demons were able to realize the attack and try to fight back sooner than expected, so the angels had to cut it short and flee before mouch damage could be done.

The angels then created a secret organization that no demon knew about, and that most angels didn't know about. It was called Silent Reality, and was the last hope fore the angels.

SR Agents went out into the Demon World, and picked off demons from the shadows. They immediately retreated if there was even a chance that they had been discovered.

The Demons ruled the world, and renamed it the Demon World.
