Biography
Early days
Bandaloon registered on the forum on November 9th, 2006, several days after its creation. At that point, the forum was for the region Crimea. He had joined to participate in the roleplaying on the board, particularly the World war II RP. In this RP, he took on the roll of Spain.
It was around mid-november that bandaloon became a permanent member of The Senate, and an administrator on the board.
By november 21st, he had founded and become chairman of The Liberal Party of Lichentia.
November Revolution
Bandaloon was not present or informed during the events of the November Revolution. When he discovered that somthing was amiss, he started a region called new crimea, unaware that Hammer, Golgora, and Fishy had already created a new region called Lichentia. After he was informed of everything that had happened, Bandaloon moved into lichentia.
For a short time after the Revolution, He served as speaker of congress.
Growth
For the next three terms, Bandaloon served as minister of immigration and continued to help develop the region.
During the term of Julio Trigman, bandaloon served as Deputy prime minister, speaker of congress, and minister of entertainment, tea, and biscuits. It was in the roll of the latter that he created the first arcade, which consisted of several flash games in the forum descriptions of forums in his house on Lichentia Exchange. He also recorded several podcast tracks containing news on the region.
Prime minister
Towards the end of JT's term, Bandaloon announced that he was running for prime minister. JT also decided to run. Just before voting began, JT and Bandaloon privately agreed that JT would conceed the election and in turn Bandaloon made him deputy prime minister and speaker. The plan went through, and Bandaloon became Prime minister on July 11th, 2007.
around the time of the elections, forum activity was very low. By the end of the term, activity was back up, thanks to several new members, including Tupelope, and an explosion in spam.
Today
In TripleKos first term as prime minister, Bandaloon served as Minister of defense and speaker of congress, and near the very end of the term was made minister of entertainment, tea and biscuits, which he has held going into trip's second term.
Bandaloon's main accomplishments since leaving the office of prime minister have been improvements to the forum. He has recently added an improved arcade, a link to the regional IRC chat, a link to this wiki, and a regional favicon. An award has been proposed for these efforts.
Roleplay
Bandaloon has been a consistent roleplayer in his time in Lichentia.
Roleplay history
During the days of Crimea, Bandaloon was involved in the world war II RP, where he RPed Spain. Later, in the first incarnation of the gang wars RP, he RPed a gang called the red dragons. He has also had various national backstories in the nation RP environments.
Bandaloon also started his own RP at one point. His star wars RP was character based and used d20 star wars roleplaying game rules. After several months, the RP disbanded.
Current Roleplaying
Currently, Bandaloon is involved in the second incarnation of the Gang Wars RP, with a new gang, the Black Sun. He is also a player in the dungeons and dragons RP, led by Laothin. His character is named Knave Mortsdnil. In the star trek RP, he represents the Horta.
In the nation RP environments, Bandaloon is currently roleplaying the Bandaloon Mining guild.
