Paul Layde

Paul Layde was a former aide of Sarah Quent. He started working for the secretive ex-president as a liasion point between the president and the citizens of Curiaistan. Not even Layde knew the real name.

Paul was always making mistakes and prone to ridicule in the press. For instance, he hurried away to a secret bunker during the first lot of assassinations early in Liberalia history. Quent toughened it out and as a result he never regained his credibility with either the populace at large or with the government in Curiaistan.

His downfall came when Mercuror discovered oil in their lands and Layde was asked to lead the negotiations. He fell victim to a honeytrap, had his papers stolen and was sacked in disgrace.

His current whereabouts are unknown.
