Ash is considered a pure wood. Users of most ash wands usually powerful healers. These wands are good to cleanse. Ash wands and their users do good works involving the purifications of the mind. Powerful wands are the best tool of powerful wizards. As for the core of wands, Hawk feathers work well with Ash wood. Though usually never considered a magical animal hawks are still powerful animals and this trait of power is shown in their users. Hawk feathers are rare cores due to the animals lack of magical status. This core enables the user unnatural perception and focus. Also this core makes for wonderful protection spells therefore it is a good wand when dealing with Defence Against the Dark Arts.

Cutti has always been a fighter, not a lover. Ever since she was very young, she would choose to stay inside and read, or study or work. She always put her job and future first, and claims she is far too busy for silly things like making friends or falling in love.
There really is only one word to describe Cutti, and that is snarky. Especially when it comes to dealing with Dr. Haus. If she didn't respect what a good doctor he was, Gregor would have probably been punched several times by now. Or at least had a good shouting at. As cruel as she can come across at times, Cutti really is a caring person. If she didn't care, she'd never had become a doctor, after all. She has very strong familial ties with her parents, and would do anything for them. The same goes for Haus and Voigt, though she has a funny way of showing it.
Recently, however, Lisa has discovered that her devotion to her work has left her very much alone. She's started wanting a family of her own, and is considering in vitro fertilization to have a child. She hasn't quite made a decision yet, and has told no one about this.
[edit] Physical Description
Lisa is what one could call “classically beautiful”. She has dark curly hair that reaches down just below her shoulderblades. She considers it one of her biggest nuisances and usually has it tied back in a low ponytail. She has darker skin than your average Englander, but after growing up in India it’s expected. She has pale, piercing blue eyes, that almost always give away her true emotions, no matter how much she tries to hide it. She’s of average height, and less than average weight, and despite her unhealthy beanpole appearance, she’s really at the peak of physical health. There is not a day that goes by that she isn’t out jogging or doing some other sort of exercises.

Lisa Elena Cutti was born on August 26th 1940 to a Muggle family in India. Her parents, Anita and Devdas Cutti, had propheted from the English during World War II and during their reign and the family was far from struggling. Of course, after the British rule was abruptly ended in 1947, the Cutti's were no longer held in high regard, so they were forced to leave for England.
When Lisa got a letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her parents were a bit hesitant, but they wanted their daughter to reach her full potential. After all, it wasn't as if they didn't have the means to support her. So Lisa was sent to the school of magic in 1951, and was sorted into Ravenclaw. She excelled in all of her classes with the exception of Flying. She preferred to keep her feet planted firmly on the ground, thankyouverymuch. She passed her exams with flying colours every year, and could have done anything she wanted. So she went back to living a Muggle life for a while and went to Michigan University for a doctorate in Medicine in 1958, and graduated in 1964.
With her experience in both Muggle and Magical medicine, she was hired by St. Mungo's to work in the ward that specialized in treating muggles with magical maladies and became the first female Head Healer in that department. During her time there, she met Dr. Gregor Haus, whom she now refers to as "the pain in her backside". They became good friends rather quickly. Sort of. He annoyed her to know end, and vice versa, but deep down they both knew that they'd never find a more loyal friend. Unless it came in the form of Dr. James Voigt. She spent many years playing the "Jon to his Steven" (in the words of Kimglish) and did her best to help smooth things over when he did something incredibly and almost irrevocabley stupid. When the Yaxley's more or less bought St. Mungo's, however, Cutti could do nothing to change the mind of the board. They fired Haus, but he and Voigt found a job elsewhere. Or so she heard.
Cutti just recieved a job offer from Albus Dumbledore to teach Muggle Studies at her old school. She has accepted and will be a Professor at Hogwarts for the 1977-78 school year. She will also be helping out as a nurse, as needed. Well, at least she'll be helping Voigt keep Haus in check.

Aries is an intellectual sign, but it is also an impatient sign; Ravenclaws who were born under this sign are likely to tolerate no dull wits or stupidity, whether they see this lack of mental competence in themselves (in which case they will berate themselves for not understanding, or give up quickly in frustration without really trying to overcome their difficulty in learning) or in others (in which case they will lash out at the offender with acidic comments and haughty, cutting looks). These Ravenclaws will want to be at the head of the class, dominating other students in their chosen intellectual field, and may be almost as competitive as Slytherins. However, the true aim of every Ravenclaw is knowledge, knowledge, and more knowledge. While a Slytherin might see losing a magical duel or being bested by another student in a DADA class as humiliating, the Ravenclaw will probably just take delight in competition for its own sake, and see defeat as a learning experience.
