Character Name

Personality
He, naturally, as a Ravenclaw, has a fierce intelligence and is very passionate about his subject. He tries to equate everything to formulas and numbers, but finds that in questions of true emotion, he fails. He is very emotional, verging on manic-depressive at times. His emotions are some of the few things he cannot bring into simple numerical order, so struggles to control them. However, he does not avoid them for this reason. He prefers to revel in the highs and struggle through the lows. His deep love for his late wife, Livia Agostini, demonstrates that perfectly. Whilst they were together, he was deeply in love with her and considered himself happy for one of the few times in his life, however, once she was murdered, he proceeded into a cycle of mourning and remembering how much he loved her. It is possible to say he was more devoted to her in death than in life.
He has an addictive personality (in the sense he gets addicted to things, not that he's addictive) and is trying to battle his alcoholism as well as quitting smoking after his wife's death. This also means he has a hard time saying no, especially to something he's tried before.
Most of the time, he hates people being upset and especially so when it's his fault. Problem is, a lot of the time, he blames himself and tries to take responsiblity and fix things. Furthermore, he isn't very good at this, and most of his best made, well intended plans blow up in his face. Because of this, he tends to give in to people very easily and has trouble enforcing the rules, but he does his utmost to combat this, most of the time.
He is a very sociable person, deep down, and even when he insists and convinces himself he wants to be alone, he really doesn't. He hates being alone, especially since his wife died. He tends to rely on people more than he'd like, but is always ready to return the favour.
Physical Description
Delame is very tall (about 6'4"), thanks to his father, who was a professional Quidditch Keeper. However, most of his other physical attributes he inherited from his mother. He has dark, almost black, hair, which is currently cut short-ish, but has been longer. His eyes are a piercing light blue. He has a beard currently, which now and again, shows his age with flecks of grey. Thanks to his habit of skipping breakfast and eating well, as well as a good metabolism, he's relatively well built, but not fat or muscular. Just hanging around in the middle. He hasn't yet learnt the art of tucking in his shirt, probably because he thinks it looks good, but he does try to look his best. Problem is, he often doesn't look well, thus hampering most of his efforts.

Astrology
- Birthday: 30th January
- Sign: AQUARIUS
(January 20 - February 18) the Water Bearer. Fixed, air, yang - planetary rulers: Saturn and Uranus. Keywords: "I KNOW"
Aquarius is the eleventh house of the Zodiac and rules the circulatory system, shins, and ankles. Positive traits include brilliance, innovation, individuality, openness, social consciousness, inventiveness, practical skill, and self assertion; negative traits are eccentricity, lack of attachment to people and the "real world," over-intellectualizing of the emotions, a crotchety temper, rigidity, intellectual arrogance, and stubbornness.
Ravenclaw Aquarians
The stereotypical geeks of the magical world, Ravenclaw Aquarians are noted mostly for their genius. They are gifted theorists and inventors, and highly talented students. Most wind up doing pure research after graduating from Hogwarts. Their noses are always in books of esoteric lore. Some people may laugh at them, either for their unconventional lifestyles or (more commonly) because they are obvious nerds, but they don't care. While they can have sharp tempers, especially when they encounter ignorance or stupidity, these wizards generally mean well, and have a "live and let live" philosophy. Their wit is legendary; not everybody gets the Ravenclaw Aquarian's jokes, but those who are subtle and intelligent enough find conversation with an Aquarian Ravenclaw to be quite funny, in a satirical and ironic and irreverent sort of way.
