Server-hosted Wiki Software

• DoKuWiki
• MediaWiki – used by Wikipedia and this site
• MoinMoin – popular wiki engine

Internet-hosted Wiki Software

• JotSpot – create easy-to-use wikis. Basic wikis with few authors can be created for free; larger wikis are available for a fee. Currently registration for new wikis is closed because Google has bought JotSpot.
• XWiki – a free wiki service

Wiki Farms

• ClearWiki -- private hosted wikis. Extremely easy to use with heaps of features.
• Edit This -- create a free wiki using the MediaWiki application. This site uses Edit This
• Seedwiki
• Wikispaces -- create a free wiki - very clean and easy to use.
