Bell Micro and HP have joined together to launch a “Going Green” initiative aimed at helping resellers deploy greener IT infrastructures. The initiative will focus on blades, virtualisation and consultancy around data centre consolidation. Initially HP and Bell will co-fund ten resellers to sign up to the scheme, these resellers need to be green themselves, thus a data centre assessment of their business will be offered so they can show customers they are being proactive about going green.
