Bennie Marsh and Creat Marsh had two children, Zelda, born on January 9, 1923, and Delmer born on November 20, 1927.
Zelda Marsh Harwood was one of the main founders of the Applegate Pioneer Museum. She had a knack for accumulating items to display, that had belonged to her family or others who had lived in the area. Most of her ancestors were born and raised in the West Lane district.
Both her mother, Creat, and grandmother Irene Inman were teachers, so they got acquainted with a lot of people. Zelda drove school bus, so she met many old timers, some she interviewed for transcribed tapes.
