Eugene
The cultivation of bulbs and flowers began during this period. Chase Gardens was producing flowers by 1925. Prior to the Depression, the Chase operation grew potted plants, carnations, roses and orchids (Chase 1964:13; Neill 1990:6).
Springfield
- Brattain Elementary School is built.
- William Hughes, a prominent Springfield banker during the 1920s is City Treasurer from 1923 - 1926.
- Liberty Lodge No. 171 A.F. & A.M., a Masonic organization, was organized in about 1925.
