The Manuscripts of a Vale Scholar

Day 1 This is my first entry since I left the Vale 3 weeks ago and its the first chance Ive had to write in my Journal. Today has been amazing thus far! I have met up with a small caravan that has done some trade with-in the Vale. They havent recognized me and are heading into Dale Holme, which is where Im heading. Ive been cautious with them, and havent let on to who I really am. Ive told them my name is Serile Krosh, a human traveling to Dale Holme in search of work. Ive informed them that I have a tendency to get cold easy, and they havent pestered me too much yet about my hood, which is how Im hiding my "inherited" features. We should be in Dale Holme in another couple of days they tell me. Which is just as well, Im really anxious to get back to studying the Arcane Arts. I have so much to learn and I havent been able to release any energy since I left the Vale. The Ancient said this wizard, Feridan, is very knowledgable. I certainly hope so. Ill just continue to lie low in the meantime...

Day 3 We should be reaching Dale Holme this evening, under the cover of night. Id like to keep as inconspicuous as I can until I reach Feridan. Im sure my Father will have some sort of search party looking for me. I dont think he suspects me to travel all the way, here, to Dale Holme. That should give me some time to mingle in and create a different persona in this city. I'd better get some sleep, I dont want to seem tired and be disrespectful when I meet Feridan.
