Anti Alcohol Revolution

The Anti Alcohol Revolution was originally created as a group of teenagers banding against excessive alcohol use. While they are still focused on that (as all of them are mages), the AAR has grown into something much larger. Currently, it is the form of teen government used across the magical world - not just in Tokyo, but in Paris, New York, and most major cities.

This is the original AAR branch - where it all began. They focus mainly on excessive alcohol and drug use when it comes to mages and minors, and don't concern themselves as much with being a form of government for the Tokyo teens. Like the other branches, they work hard to keep their members out of negative spotlight. (Except for Daisuke - he can't be helped)

Their meetings are usually in Sutori, and are held very informally over a dinner or lunch meeting. This branch is said to be the most informal and friendly of them all when it comes to being open to new members and ideas. No surprise, since it all started here.

The Paris branch is not as focused on their alcohol goal as they are about leading the teenagers of Paris with upright morals. While they do focus some of their attention on minors and alcohol use, most of their attention goes to keeping their members and the general population out of negative spotlight.

They're more professional than Tokyo, as they insist on formal meetings. Yet, their hierarchy is more based on whose families are the most noble. Their presidents aren't elected, but receive the title through their heritage; it's based on who seems most suited for the job within the noble families.

There's literally nothing known on this branch, other than Roy and Minoru served as officers (but are still members, though on a much lesser scale).

Mimi Belmont was their treasurer until the fall of 2009. Like most American-run offices, each officer runs for a term of 2-4 years, after which they can run for election again or quit. (Mimi, Roy, and Minoru simply chose to quit after their terms ended.)

Like the region, the Silicon Valley branch AAR is highly competitive and often tries to out-do the rest of the branches in the western United States. Not much, again, is known about this branch other than Leaf's occasional ramblings about it - and Kyr's encounters with them while at Stanford.

(Kokoro's version, naturally, differs from Chrono's when it comes to its officers and members, but that competitive spirit and drive for technology is still the same.)

• The normal form of the AAR was slightly influenced by Radiant Mythology. Otherwise, its inspiration came mostly from watching other organizations and seeing how they worked.
