Remember those blatant Mary Sues you wrote in grade five, or the awful drawings that your mom assured you were great? Can you stand to look at them anymore? Will you acknowledge their existence without blushing and changing the subject? Will you embrace them rather than try and delete every relic they left? If not, then they're Old Shame for sure.
