Shirogane Kouji

Shirogane Kouji comes representing an unknown future dimension where Shirogane Ichigo and Ryou are his parents. He is a friendly and energetic boy whose desire is to become a famous phantom thief and steal back items to return to the people who deserve them (much like Saint Tail and Dark Mousey).

History

Before Kokoro

It remains unclear as to where Kouji originated from, as he explains himself to Shirogane Rinji, but he has said before that his mother, Shirogane Ichigo and several others had passed away where he comes from. He also sometimes refers to his father by his first name, which doesn't seem quite logical.

Kokoro Days

Kouji was creating mischief from the very first day he walked into Kokoro, accusing Plum of stealing his shoes and making trouble for a few innocent victims. He also originally claimed that he was the child of Sarah Cohen and Roy Bancroft, but most cafegoers could see through this lie quite easily. Apparently the boy's main objective in visiting this world was to alert Shirogane Ichigo that he was both her son and that in one particular future she no longer exists.

Kouji continued to return to Kokoro, and made a few Mirror Mew visits as well where he first meets Himeno and several others.

Personality

Kouji apparently takes interest his grandfather's "Operation Black Roses" or something, thus the obsession with black roses. Kouji's also absolutely fascinated by the concept of magic (which explains his admiration for Shirogane Shuugo and the other mages). Although he has no magical ability himself, he takes on performance magic and sleight-of-hand. Kouji really likes surprising people in that way.

Overall, Kouji's a pretty energetic and perky boy, however, he does have one problem (like most Shirogane kids) which is that he has multiple personalities. His mood can change suddenly from him bouncing off the walls to crying his eyes out, however, overall he's happy - he's just not the brightest crayon in the box.

Lovelife

• You think Kouji is smart enough to figure whether he's in love or not? Well, he does have a very strong liking for Himeno. Despite her being a bit pushy, Kouji seems to get along with her fairly well, and will let her boss him around. She's well aware of his not-so-secret secret identity, and he's trying to help her remember what she forgot, too.

Trivia

• Kouji was made because practically everyone else had a Shirogane kid, and because there are so few humans.
• Kouji's middle name, "James", was taken from the alias Shirogane Jishou went by for some time after he was revived in that timeline.
• Kouji also makes an appearance in his authoress' upcoming manga Ma.Gi.En..
