What was never mentioned, however, was that Kyr went on trial for the murder of Memory Brandon about two weeks after he killed her. Being on trial under the mage system changed his views on how he should've acted towards her. While he doesn't regret defeating her (the court found him guilty, but it was justified murder), he does regret how he treated her.

More recently, however, Kyr had finally unlocked the cure to his unwanted immortality. This cure, however, caused him to mute his emotions in the public eyes for about two weeks. (Glazed eyes, politeness - it all happened) As a result, however, it appears that Kyr has lost his hate for Ichigo. Kyr claimed that it was worthless to dislike someone, especially when they haven't really done much wrong that can be fixed now.
