It’s the beat of a new day, the rhythm in your step, and the vibe that keeps you moving to and from. It is music, a motivating component in most people’s daily lives, often keeping kids in school and out of the streets. Seldom do many realize that music programs can be the motivator that saves many lives. Nassau County funds an initiative to save the music.
“The Nassau Music Educators Association is made up of professional music educators and advocates of music education. It exists to support music as a vital component in the complete education of every child. Located on Long Island, New York, NMEA sponsors and organizes performance festival opportunities for the students of Nassau County and offers workshops and clinics for its membership.”
