KeySpan is a natural gas corporation that provides the northeast region of the united states with energy.
Hempstead mayor, James Garner is making KeySpan responsible for cleaning up polluted areas in the town of Hempstead.
The pollution comes from several toxic gas plants all over Long Island, which includes Hempstead, Sag Harbor, Glen Cove, Patchogue, Rockaway Park, and Bay Shore which is has the largest toxic spill on the Island.
The pollution is affecting the groundwater which will eventually become the town's drinking water... [Give me links here to credible sites that show that]
