KeySpan is a natural gas corporation that provides the New York metropolitan area energy. They are responsible for cleaning up the pollution that has be aquired by the town of Hempstead.
The pollution came from a toxic gas site in Bay Shore, Long Island.
The drinking water is polluted with coal tar, but not enough traces to harm any humans.
The real threat comes from "toxic plumes."
