Hempstead and Criminals

Proposal: I plan to uncover information on the crime rate and different criminals that currently reside in or hail from Hempstead (or have recently been apprehended) and what seems to draw them to the area.

Information

Hempstead, NY is a town with a population of 56,554 people (as of 2000). It is located in Nassau County 19 miles east of New York, New York.
