My first lead came from Greg Turner, a Hofstra Latin American Studies major, who raves about a breakfast for the buck grilled up in a corner bodega located on the turnpike. Get out your “Dos Mundos” (preferably 2nd edition) textbook and turn to the “Eating Out” chapter, because it’s time to find the crown jewels of Hempstead’s Spanish cuisine.
If you’re the type who loves to eat out, and afraid but willing to step out of your Chinese/Italian comfort zone, don’t waste your time with online research.
