Greetings, fellow members of JOTO! And, a special thanks to our Nainitsuj for his work on this magnificent site. I know that this will be an exceptional aid to the members of our guild and I wish to express my personal appretiation.
A bit about me... I live in Beaumont, Tx where I'm awaiting the return of my dear husband, currently stationed in Bagdhad, Iraq with the 415th Military Intelligence Battalion, US ARMY. I was born in 1956 (do the math) and grew up in the 60s and 70s.. attended LSU majoring in Organic Chemistry. I have two children, one who plays EQ2 with her husband, and one who works for General Dynamics in Anniston, AL, building Strykers for the military.
I've been a gamer virtually all my life, starting in about 1976 with memeographed sheets with the rules of an obscure game named Chain Maille and plastic, oddly shaped dice. Graduated to Pong, D&D, Atari.. it has never ended and I have always loved gaming. My MMO experience includes UO, EQ, AO, EQ2, and numerous betas and trials of games that really didn't catch my imagination so didn't last long. I've worked as a game guide but, always, returned to the virtual worlds, content to quest, explore and enjoy the community of people who dream and love and live in them.
My net name has always been Isinofre, taken from one of my favorite pen and paper RP game characters. She was a Werewolf, Galliard, Silent Strider, explorer, teller of tales and lived Deborah's dreams with the aid of a magnificent Storyteller who allowed me to be that which I chose. I shortened it to Isin for EQ2, yet, I will always be Isinofre in my heart... wanderer, explorer, dreamer, teller of tales.
Thankfully, my husband is a gamer, as well, though his tastes usually run to FPS rather than MMOs, and, life is good when he is home. I'm very proud to be a member of such a fine community as Journey of the Overlord, and am certainly glad that they saw fit to let me be part of their journeys in Norrath and beyond.
