Smith (Adele, Taio Cruz, Craig David), il développe une intrigue de plus de son album pensé comme la bande son d'un film,, mais il offre également l'opportunité à un héros du petit écran de s'y distinguer : Jaleel White, qu'on connaît mieux sous le nom et les lunettes du déjanté geek Steve Urkel, dans la série culte La vie de famille (Family Matters).

Jaleel White a évidemment bien changé depuis les années 1990 et ses 204 épisodes dans la peau de Steve Urkel, et ce qui a bien changé notamment, c'est que sa carrière n'est plus vraiment sous le feu des projecteurs, comme en témoigne le bide du début d'été du film Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer,, dans lequel il avait un petit rôle. Il pourrait signer son retour en grâce avec sa prestation dans le clip de Cry Baby, où Cee-Lo Green n'apparaît pas et lui cède intégralement (à son insu, puisqu'il a déclaré ne pas être au courant du fait que son label ait tourné un clip pour Cry Baby - info ou intox ?) la vedette : dans une ambiance rétro inspirée des années 1960 et des décors en carton-pâte des studios de tournage,, inondée de couleurs pastel et de lumière, Jaleel White,, 34 ans et monté sur ressorts, se prend très ostentatoirement pour Cee-Lo Green, joue les bourreaux des coeurs, en abusant comiquement du playback, et fait montre de talents de danseur assez saisissants. Un sacré numéro. Soon on Broadway ?

Et tandis qu'il tourne avec son fameux backing band ultra-glamour car entièrement féminin,, Scarlet Fever, comme on a pu le voir en France sur le plateau de Taratata,, ou joue les jurés de marque dans le télé-crochet The Voice au côté de Blake Shelton, Adam Levine et Christina Aguilera,, Thomas DeCarlo Callaway,, alias Cee Lo Green,, risque de faire le buzz avec le clip de Cry baby.

A la manière dont les danseuses se sont données pour cette avant-première exceptionnelle, on peut en déduire la joie qu'elles éprouvent à se retrouver à côté de celui qui fait l'unanimité des stars et des modeuses, et qui revenait tout juste du défilé Thierry Mugler.

E.T. ou encore Poltergeist

Super 8 nous entraîne à la fin des années 1970 aux Etats-Unis. Alors qu'ils tournent un film en super 8,, un groupe d'adolescents est témoin d'une spectaculaire catastrophe ferroviaire. Ils ne tardent pas à comprendre qu'il ne s'agit pas d'un accident. Peu après,, des disparitions étonnantes et des événements inexplicables se produisent en ville,, et la police tente de découvrir la vérité... Une vérité qu'aucun d'entre eux n'aurait pu imaginer.

Hommage affirmé à des oeuvres cultes telles que Les Goonies, E.T. ou encore Poltergeist,, Super 8 promet de l'aventure sur fond de science-fiction,, mais également beaucoup d'émotion et d'humour. Ce long métrage,, qui a déjà réalisé plus de 122,,3 millions de dollars de recettes au box office nord-américain,, met à l'honneur le jeune Joel Courtney,, Kyle Chandler,, que les amateurs de la série Demain à la Une auront reconnu et Elle Fanning. Cette dernière,, âgée de 13 ans et petite soeur de Dakota,, a déjà de la bouteille en matière de cinéma et on l'a dernièrement vue en premier rôle dans Somewhere,, de Sofia Coppola.
