A long, long time ago in a Nokia factory far far away the very first portable cellular phone was build. And with the start of this mobile phone the first ringtone was born: The Nokia Tune. This Nokia tune was the first ringtone of these all, and who may have thought that it'd create a multi billion dollar business in the next few years...

The very first ringtone was the nokia track, this ringtone was a simple one-melodic monophonic ringtone. And it produced an enormous product to a -then- small industry. But the market grew bigger and soon everyone else had a mobile cellular phone. And then the ringers became a huge business because everybody else wanted his/hers own ringtone to modify their phone. The monophonic ringtones were a big blast in the music industry and the follow-up polyphonic ringtones were even larger then those monophonic ringtones. As there came more and more mobile cellular phone users the polyphonic ringers market grew and grew. And soon it had been time for a fresh product to add to the market: realtones...

Realtones are now the biggest strike in Europe and Asia and will undoubtedly be in the united states as well. The modern mobile cell phones support realtones and mp3 sounds. Realtones are based on mp3, and other music formats. They are no longer easy midi files. But true songs! From the true artists! The realtone getting hotter and hotter and is is warm right now. Because a large amount of devices still don't help them. Only the newest high-tech devices support realtones. But in many years when you can find no new portable cellular phones available that not support realtones everyone will give attention to the realtones. And ecommerce market will only develop in the future of mobile entertainment. Realtones are already available throughout the earth, realtones sites are appearing on the net like crazy. And the clients keep buying new realtones because of their mobile cell phones. Nevertheless the realtones still are quite expensive, they are a lot more expensive then your whole songs purchased on Itunes and other online download stores. Actually for the price of one realtone the whole song could be easily bought by you, and the realtone is 30 seconds of the song. Also a realtone costs two times as much because the polyphonic ringtone or the monophonic ringtone. But there are still a lot of people buying them.

A different type of realtones are the nametones. Nametones are realtones where you get called by your name. It is not a true song of a well known artist but it's a song but with your name in it. Some thing like: Hey Pete your cellular phone rings, pick it up!

You have different sorts of nametones, there are place nametones, bubblin nametones, hardcore nametones, r&b nametones and far more styles to pick from. But these nametones are mp3 based so that your mobile cell phone must help realtones to play them in your mobile cell phone. Also the nametones are because the realtones mostly exactly the same price.

So if you go through the past when the monophonic ringtones were a huge nonsense in the cellular entertainment business, and later on the polyphonic ringtones became huge. The realtones and nametones is going to be the following large portable entertainment nonsense. [ Fotki.com, photo and video sharing m]
